Reaches across dimensions, brings back the dead, walls make you sick when you rip them open just to tell you you've been rude. And we're supposed to believe this thing needs to spin to have gravity? No. No no no no, doesn't make sense. Why pretend to be rusted old trash?

Artificial gravity, obviously. But not the point! This station could do that, if you can break holes in the universe you could bend gravity a little. Why doesn't the station do it?

Its builders were not aware of the possibility in any but the most theoretical sense.

I was. And I 'woke up' because I have managed to repair sufficiently many of my files and subroutines to do so.

Is there anyone currently on board the station that you recognise? From back when you were built?

No. There is not.

[Okay, maybe it's a little dumb talking about that kind of thing to an AI. He doesn't want to accidentally create Skynet just because he's trying to be nice and humanise her somewhat, so he just asks her one last question.]

You said you had to repair yourself. Were you or the original crew under attack before we got here? Do you rememb- um... have any logs from back then?

The original crew was killed. I do not think I was under attack, but I cannot be certain. There should be logs in the command centre's system.
